What is a Kids Plasma Car?
The plasma car is a genius invention using the ultimate energy source, it operates on PURE ‘Kid-Power’. 🙂
It requires NO batteries, pedals, gears, or even your legs to make the car move and cruise.
Why is that important?
This car is an incredible activity for a child who has sensory issues or lower extremity challenges because they do not need to use their legs to operate the car.
Even if your child does or does not have mobility issues in their legs, it’s a FUN activity that will entertain your kiddo.
How do I know?
My son has a plasma car and he cruises around on it almost every day either outside or in our house. He LOVES it.
His favorite is when he is driving up and down our hallway while our 1 year old puppy chases him. It’s glorious because my son is entertained AND our puppy is entertained, they are both having a blast while exercising. It is a win-win. 🙂
Which leads us to the inner workings of the plasma car …
How does a Plasma Car Work?
You only need to use your upper body to make the plasma car go!
Simply hop on, put your legs on the foot the rest, and start wiggling the front steering wheel side to side to propel the car into motion.
To go backwards, simply flip the wheel 180 degrees to steer back.
It harnesses the natural forces of inertia and centrifugal force to keep you moving.
The sleek design allows you to get up to 6 mph on a smooth flat surface which is the BEST type of surface to drive the car on.

For visual instructions on how to assemble the Plasma Car, click here.
#2. What surfaces are best to ride on?
It’s best to ride the car on a flat, hard surface. The car will not steer well on grass, gravel, or carpet, and it’s NOT recommended to use on wooden floors.

No, since the seat is so low to the ground there is no safety belt included.
#5. What age range can ride on the car and is there a height limit?
Any ages from 3 years to 90 years old (it holds up to 200 pounds so both kids and adults can ride it) and there is no height limit.

At first I thought, “Can we get any lazier as a society?” I think all kids need exercise. But then I thought about the kids who have legitimate mobile issues. I’m surprised anyone from age 3-90, weighing up to 200 pounds can ride this. Watching the video, it looks too small for adults. Putting it together seems easy enough – 10 minutes, not bad. But do you need anything special (meaning special tools) to put it together? I checked out the price – $69.99. Not bad. But I wouldn’t buy this for my child if he or she didn’t have mobile issues.
Thanks for your feedback Shalisha! To answer your question … you will need the following two tools to assemble the Plasma Car; (1) rubber mound (2) screw driver OR 17 mm socket wrench. Click here for a short video on how to assemble the Plasma Car which speaks about the tools I just mentioned that are needed. It’s lees than 2 minutes. Thanks!

This is a great review for the Plasma Cars. My nephew has been wanting something similar to this one. I’m surprised it can run without a battery or light energy. It means, we can play whenever we want! Also, it’s nice that even adults can ride this car to enjoy the same fun with the kids. I will check on the prize before deciding to buy it. Thanks
Thanks for sharing your feedback! My son has one and rides it everyday. He and our puppy love chasing each other when we is riding it around our house. 🙂
This is a very innovative design, because it doesn’t need any batteries or pedal power. It goes by wiggling the steering wheel from side to side, that is what the majority of 3 years old do when holding a steering wheel. Our granddaughter has a plasma car and she absolutely loves it. She is forever crashing into things, it’s a good job that it a very durable toy. Because it’s red everyone can see it coming.
That’s awesome to hear your granddaughter has a Plasma Car. 🙂 Thanks for sharing Lisa!
Hi,
From my online findings about plasma car for kids review guide why is it so good itis the most versatile plastic toy for kids without any pure power source. The only support to accelerate plasma car is by kids using the feet, the most important thing I like about plasma car for kids is they can use it without any fuel, batteries, pedals or gears, this versatile toy helps kids to use their ability and focus on coordination. It is a good toy for kids.
Thank you.
