This will benefit kids who are sensory seeking (or not) because it helps to …

  • Calm or stimulate sensory awareness

As you can see there are many places you can use the sensory cushion.

Keep your mind open on where and how you can use the seat for your child because the possibilities are endless.

Ideas for Use

The secure non-slip grip and bumpy traction will safely allow your kiddo to use the seat in many ways.

You can adjust the height of the cushion by inflating or deflating it for your desired firmness or wobbliness.

For instance, do you need the seat more firm to boost your child up at the table when eating?

Or would you prefer less air in it to make it a fun wobbly activity while sitting on the floor?

The seat can also be used for exercise and other activities:

  • Sit to improve coordination
  • Sit to strengthen stomach and back muscles
  • Use as a footrest
  • Use at school to encourage movement without disrupting peers during circle time or lunchtime
  • Use it as a therapy tool by standing on it to improve balancing skills

    Hi

I have a baby girl who turned 3 in October this year. I am thinking of sending her to school come 2021 but my worry has always been that she just can not seat or stand still. She is always on the move or looking for other things to do.

I believe the sensory seat cushion may just be the perfect solution to our problem. I will definitely try it out. Thank you for the info. It is really worth sharing with other parents out there.

My first thought is that the kids I know would use this seat more as a toy than as a seat to stop wiggling. XD They would sit there and wiggle to enjoy the feel of a seat covered in bumps. This is also a good thing I think, not for stopping wiggling but for keeping a kid occupied fr a time, win win either way.

I do like the idea that it improves posture, but that makes me think I need it more then the kids.
